SummerSlam races to Ford Field in Detroit on Saturday with a loaded match card
WWE is bringing one of its flagship annual events to Ford Field in Detroit on Saturday night. Roman Reigns, Jey Uso, Cody Rhodes, Brock Lesnar and Bianca Belair are a handful of the major superstars making the walk to the ring at SummerSlam.
The event has long been considered one of WWE's "big four" alongside Royal Rumble, Survivor Series and WrestleMania. This year's most anticipated matchup is the next chapter in the critically acclaimed Bloodline saga. Undisputed WWE universal champion Roman Reigns defends his title and status as "Tribal Chief" against Jey Uso, his defiant cousin teeming with momentum.
Cody Rhodes and Brock Lesnar will complete their trilogy, Seth Rollins continues to build the legacy of the new world heavyweight championship and Gunther vs. Drew McIntyre should be a hard-hitting spectacle. Internet superstar Logan Paul is also scheduled for action, as is fan-favorite LA Knight. Bianca Belair, Charlotte Flair and Ronda Rousey will be present as well.
WWE SummerSlam will be presented live on Saturday from Ford Field in Detroit. It is set to begin at 8 p.m. ET with a kickoff show starting one hour earlier at 7 p.m. on Peacock. Sikoa drags Jey like a dead body. He then lifts Jey and throws it to ringside. Sikoa throws Jey into the ring.
As per tribal combat rules, Sikoa enters the ring and slams Jey on the ring floor. Reigns also enters the ring.
While Sikoa tries Samoan spike on Jey, Reigns tries to hit Jey with the spear.
Jey moves away, the spear hits Sikoa. Both Sikoa and Reigns are down in the ring.
Jey takes a chiar and slams repeatedly on Sikoa and Reigns. The crowd claps.
