Milan
Barcelona
The preseason is winding down for European soccer teams, but there are still juicy friendlies to be played -- and one of them is taking place Tuesday night in Las Vegas, where AC Milan and FC Barcelona will square off at Allegiant Stadium.
All eyes will be on Barca winger Ousmane Dembele, potentially playing his final match for the club amid heavy interest from PSG. The Blaugrana begin their defense of LaLiga in less than two weeks' time, while Milan will try to launch a title challenge in Serie A when that league season begins Aug. 21.

Milan and Barcelona have a shared history in the UEFA Champions League, combining to win the competition on 12 occasions. They met in the 1994 final -- which Milan won 4-0 -- and remain two of the most prestigious and best-followed clubs in the world. But on Tuesday, they meet in the Soccer Champions Tour at Allegiant Stadium.
Barcelona sweating over Dembele's future
Barca haven't pulled any more infamous "palancas" (financial levers) this summer. The Blaugrana have said "adios" to long-serving leaders Jordi Alba and Sergio Busquets, with both players joining Lionel Messi at Inter Miami. The reigning Spanish champions signed Ilkay Gundogan and Inigo Martinez on free transfers, and they added further midfield insurance with the signing of Oriol Romeu from Girona.
However, the playing future of key player Ousmane Dembele appears farther and farther from Estadi Lluis Companys. Reports have conflicted on whether Dembele has accepted an offer to join PSG in his native France, with the clubs still to negotiate a final price for the 26-year-old. Head coach Xavi has frequently stood by the player and believes he could be among the world's best at his position.
Barcelona are coming off a 3-0 win over rivals Real Madrid on Saturday at AT&T Stadium, where Dembele, Ferran Torres, and academy graduate Fermin Lopez provided the goals.
The "Americanization" of AC Milan
Milan have had a busy summer trying to reinforce a squad that reached the Champions League semifinals last season. The Rossoneri's summer outlay is expected to exceed $110 million once they finalize a deal with Valencia to sign United States midfielder Yunus Musah -- who already has personal terms agreed with the 19-time Italian champions.
USMNT captain Christian Pulisic joined Milan from Chelsea earlier this summer, and the club also struck a deal with Villarreal for mercurial but talented winger Samuel Chukwueze. Promising striker Noah Okafor arrived from RB Salzburg to provide competition for Olivier Giroud as the team eyes an improvement on last season's fourth-place finish in the league.
