Suryakumar's performance was celebrated by all the fans in the stands. In 26 ODIs and 24 innings, he scored just 511 runs in two and a half centuries, averaging 24.33. Interestingly, Slyakumar got off to a good start in his ODI cricket. In the first six innings, he averaged 65.25 with 261 runs scored, including two half-centuries. His final half-century was against the West Indies in February 2022. But the hitter has been going downhill ever since. Over the next 50 years, he averaged 14.70 in 18 innings and scored just 250 runs with a best score of 35. This includes three consecutive Golden Duck matches against Australia.
